How to Succeed
There is no doubt that Calculus consists of difficult mathematical concepts. Therefore, you have to DO YOUR HOMEWORK, and if you don't understand a certain problem or concept, it is CRITICAL to ask your peers or teacher for help.
Mr. Yim:
Understand every word he says, and make sure to learn anything you are confused about at home, or come in during tutorial. Mr. Yim teaches at a fast pace sometimes, and if you don't make it clear to him that you don't understand something, very soon everything will go completely over your head. Prepare from study guides, and expect problems on the tests that require you to understand the concepts, not just memorize them.
Ms. Warmuth:
Be sure to do all homework, even if she doesn't check every class (or maybe not at all next year). Go to the board and explain problems to the class, and you'll see that your understanding of the topic will improve. Again, expect problems like those on the study guide to appear on tests.
