How to Succeed
Ms. Mantle/Ms. Patel:
- Homework: 5% of grade. Although homework can seem tedious at times, make sure to thoroughly complete it. Refrain from opting out of homework because understanding each homework assignment is critical to success in the class.
- Tests/Quizzes: 75% of grade. Start studying for tests/quizzes in advance to prevent procrastination. Review all of your homework assignments, notes from class, and the textbook chapters to gain a full understanding of the material. Make sure to also complete the AP practice test for the specific chapters before each test.
- Participation: 5% of grade. Remember to thoughtfully participate in all of the online discussions. Also, make sure to have a good attendance to class, as this also influences your grade. Lastly, try to participate occasionally in class.
- Final: 15% of grade. If you have put in effort to learning all of the previous chapters throughout the semester prior to the final, a brief review of main concepts is all that is necessary to get an "A" on the final. Remember to review all of your notes, complete the given study guide, and briefly read the textbook.
